Cheers to 39: A Year of Confidence, Growth & Joy
On November 7, I proudly stepped into 39 — the last year of my thirties, and honestly, it feels like a soft, warm sunrise. Not because everything is perfect, but because I’m finally walking into this chapter with clarity, confidence, and a whole lot of gratitude.
Birthdays are so funny. When we’re younger, we think getting older means losing something. But this year, I’m realizing I’ve gained so much more than I ever imagined!
What 39 Feels Like
Thirty-nine feels like:
• Knowing who I am — and who I am not.
• Showing up for myself with the same energy I pour into others.
• Honoring the woman I’ve become and giving grace to the woman I’m still becoming.
• Choosing softness, peace, and purpose over perfection.
It feels like confidence wrapped in comfort, like growth tied with a bow of gratitude.
The Beauty of Evolving
This past year has taught me that evolving doesn’t always look glamorous. Sometimes it’s quiet, internal work. Sometimes it’s letting go of old habits. Sometimes it’s finally making space for new dreams.
And sometimes… it’s as simple as embracing your natural coils on a random Tuesday or wearing the outfit that makes you feel your best — not the one you think you “should” wear.
This year, I’ve learned to celebrate my body as it is, to love my coily crown in all stages, and to walk confidently in my personal style, even if it doesn’t follow every trend.
